How to use Video Cropper
- Add your files. Click to browse or drag and drop. We check the format automatically.
- Choose your settings. Choose 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3 or 3:4 for a centered crop. For an off-center subject, select Custom and enter width, height, X and Y in pixels; X and Y start at the top-left corner.
- Crop video. Download the cropped MP4 and check that faces, text and other important details remain inside the frame.
Before you export
For a vertical clip from a landscape recording, choose 9:16. Presets remove the outer picture area; they do not add padding, stretch the image or track a moving subject. Custom coordinates apply only in Custom mode. Cropping changes the frame, not the duration, and re-encodes video as H.264 and audio as AAC.
